Day Scholar Lunches

5th May 2015

Dear Parents

As it is part of our ethos we are going to continue offering day scholar lunches for this term.

Payment, though, will have to be in advance if we are to cover costs.  In this respect only those pupils who have paid for their lunches in advance will be given full hostel lunches.  Parents, as always, have the option of sending packed lunches from home if preferred.

If a pupil does not bring a packed lunch and has not had their hostel lunch paid for the pupil will be given a sandwich which the parents will be charged for.

The cost of a day scholar lunch will be $4:50 for Grade 0 – 2 and $5:50 for Grade 3 - 7 and payment in full must be received by Friday 8th May 2015.

To make it quite clear, please indicate on the return slip (attached) what your daughter will be doing every day of the week.  In other words, there should be a tick in one of the three columns for each day – a total of four ticks for every daughter, so that we know what she will be doing each lunchtime irrespective of whether your daughter will be having hostel lunches or not.

Yours sincerely

Day Boarding
Wed, 06 May 2015

5th May 2015

Dear Parents

We are once again offering ‘Day Boarding’.  However, this is now being offered to pupils from ECD to Grade 5’s.

This facility is for pupils whose parents have difficulty collecting them at the normal end of school times.

As ‘Day Boarders’ the pupils will spend the afternoons under the same care and supervision as the full boarders.

As such, they will be taken to lunch, the Infants will have a short afternoon rest in the Infants Dormitory, and will then go to supervised prep.  They will be given afternoon tea and will then have supervised play until collected.

This facility will be offered from Monday to Thursday at a cost of $8:00 per day, including lunch and tea.

Please note that only ‘Day Boarders’ and pupils with afternoon activities will be allowed to stay in the afternoons.  All other pupils are required to be collected at the end of morning school or immediately their afternoon activity, such as ballet and modern dancing, ends.

Please fill in and return the attached ‘Return Slip’ if you would like to use this facility and please note that payment is required in advance.

Yours sincerely
