Dear Parents
Half Term is next weekend.  We will be taking a break from our program next Friday, 19th February, and on Monday 22nd February.  Packs and videos for the four days next week, 15th – 18th February and for the four days of the following week 23rd to 26th February, may be collected this weekend and on Monday.  Please note that the school will be closed over the Half Term weekend and that next week’s completed work is to be returned, with the following week’s work on either Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th or Monday 1st March.  Teachers will forward more information as reminders.

We have now received our Zimsec Grade 7 results, which we are most pleased with.  Our congratulations go to all our last years Grade 7’s for their outstanding efforts and to all the teachers for their efforts in ensuring our pupils were so well prepared.

Some interesting statistics are: 67% of our pupils passed all five subjects and 96% passed based on units.  21 pupils achieved a grade 1 in English with 80% achieving either a 1 or 2 in English.  In Maths, 18 achieved a Grade 1 with 55% achieving either a Grade 1 or 2.  31% achieved either a Grade 1 or 2 in Agriculture, compared to 17% the previous year.

These statistics indicate that not only did our pupils achieve exceptionally well, but that our program is working and achieving our objective of keeping our pupils up to date with regards the syllabus for their Grades.
