Dear Parents

The first week of our Distance Learning Program has gone very smoothly in spite of our pupils not being able to come and meet their classmates and new teachers.

We all fully understand that all our teachers, pupils and parents are desperate to return to the classroom for face-to-face teaching.  However, until this is allowed our Program is the most effective alternative that we are able to offer.  Everyone is asked to please put every effort into the Program so that all our pupils are at the same level when we return to school allowing for the seamless transition back into the classrooms that we experienced last year.

The classrooms will be open tomorrow, Sunday and Monday from 7:15am to 3:00pm for parents to come and drop off this week’s Week 1 completed packs and collect the Week 2 packs. Please note that parents are only allowed into classrooms to drop off and pick up packs on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. In order to reduce contact, teachers do not go into the classrooms on those days.

Please note that all COVID protocols, including sanitsing and temperature taking at the gate, following the arrows around the school and only one parent in a classroom at a time, are to be followed.

Your understanding of the situation is greatly appreciated.

Yours sincerely
