23rd April 2021

Dear Parents

We all returned to school on Tuesday after the Independence Weekend break refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for the term ahead.  There is a wonderful, positive atmosphere prevailing in the school.

The new term dates have meant that that our school year has effectively four terms this year.  We started our 2nd Term this week, on Tuesday, and will continue to 4th June.  The 3rd Term will be from 28th June to 10th September and the 4th Term will be from 4th October to the end of the school year in December.

As the first term fees have already been paid, the remaining six-monthly instalments will be divided into three to accommodate the extra term,  with two monthly installments each term, to be paid in April and May for Term 2, July and August for Term 3 and October and November for Term 4.

In order to ascertain where our pupils are academically, we will be holding our Mid-Year Internal Exams slightly earlier, during the week of 10th to 14th May, for Grades 3 – 7.  This will allow time for reports to be forwarded by the end of the Term.  The exams will also highlight areas that need re-enforcement as well as giving teachers and parents an indication of where pupils are in relation to class averages.

Afternoon activities and sports will only resume once permission is granted.
