Dear Parents
It has been a blessing having all our pupils back this week and quite remarkable how quickly and easily everyone settled in, especially our new ECD and Grade 1 pupils.
The effectiveness of our program has been most evident as there has been a seamless transition from the program to classroom teaching. Barring the very few exceptions, all pupils have returned on the same page and are up to date in their classes. This has been an exceptional achievement and a result of the huge amounts of effort by pupils, teachers and parents since the program started on 18th January.
We fully appreciate that everyone is desperately feeling the need for a break after eleven consecutive weeks of work. Our Association, ATS (Association of Trust Schools), is currently appealing to the Ministry of Education to allow our schools, that have been able to keep up with the syllabus using distance learning, to have an extended Easter break. We are still very hopeful that our Ministry will kindly allow us the respite, especially as the Independence Day weekend and Easter are so close together. As soon as we have clarification, we will inform you.
Congratulations must go to all our pupils and parents who participated in the virtual Inter House Cross Country. Results follow.
