Dear Parents

The end of Term has now come for our ECD to Grade 6 pupils.  Everyone can be proud of how they have coped with the situation this year and everyone truly deserves a relaxing break.

Congratulations go to all our pupils for the beautiful Carol Concert video that will be available on various platforms in the next few days.  Our thanks go to Mrs Bosha for all her efforts in producing the concert in this difficult time.

We held our Final Assembly for our Grade 2 and 3 pupils on Tuesday, Final Assembly for our Grade 4 and 5 pupils on Wednesday and we held our Final Assembly for our Grade 6 and 7 pupils this morning.  The end of year awards and certificates were handed out at each assembly with the Grade 7 awards and trophies handed out this morning.  It was very moving and a great pity that we could not invite our parents to attend.  The awards are listed below and our congratulations go to all the recipients who richly deserve them.

Our Grade 7’s are not finished, though, as they start their ZIMSEC Grade 7 exams today, the last of which will be written on 16th December.

All our pupils deserve congratulations on giving of their best during the current situation and for their achievements in spite of it.  It shows great character as befitting Bishopslea young ladies and our gentlemen. Out thanks also go to the teachers for their incredible efforts in keeping our pupils up to date with the syllabus and to our parents for their fantastic support.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and restful holiday, a Very Happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

School will open on12th January for the 2021 academic year.

Swimming

Congratulations go to Mikayla Makwabarara on breaking Kirsty Coventry’s twenty-five-year-old Zimbabwe Record for the Girls 12 & under 100m freestyle in a new time of 1 min 04.34 sec.

What an incredible achievement.
