Newsletter 5 March

Friday, 5 March, 2021

Dear Parents

I’m sure that you have all read the very exciting and most welcome news that schools will reopen for Grade 7’s on 15th March and for all the other Grades on 22nd March.

Although this means that most pupils will only be at school for a week and a half before we break for the Easter Holiday on 31st March, that week and a half is immeasurably important.  It will allow pupils to settle back into school, to meet their teachers and classmates in person and develop relationships with all. This will prepare everyone for a smooth return to school next term on 3rd May.

This is most certainly the news we were hoping for as although our pupils are all up to date with regards to the syllabus for their Grades, the social interaction and personal contact has been sorely missed.

We fully appreciate that it has been a long and hard term for all working from home and all the incredible efforts and work that have gone into the program.  Congratulations must go to all our pupils, teachers and parents for all their efforts as our pupils will return to the classroom up to date and on the same level, which was our primary objective.

Next Fridays’ newsletter will contain the protocols for our Grade 7 pupils return to the classrooms.
