Dear Parents

The PTA’s Sponsored Walk and Fun Day held last Sunday was a phenomenal success.  There was a huge turnout for the walk, held outside the school this year, including pupils and parents.  The Grade 7’s all had wonderful stalls and raised the most money ever raised by Grade 7’s since the start of this annual event.  The money the Grade 7’s raised will go towards their end of year Leavers’ Dance and the money raised by the ZUMBA was for charity. The atmosphere at the event was incredibly special and made us all proud to be part of our Bishopslea Family.

Thank you to all our pupils who walked, to parents who supported, to those who sponsored our pupils, to our Grade 7’s for their huge contributions and to the PTA for such a wonderful family event.

The PTA’s Cake Sale today was very well supported.  Thank you to Grade 1, 4 and 6 parents who contributed eats for the Cake Sale.
Our Swimming Team swam in their second gala of the season on Wednesday.  Results follow.

After Finishing their Grade 7 ZIMSEC exams on Monday, the Grade 7’s will be writing the CHISZ Pre-Secondary Shona Exams next week and the 3rd Term Inter-House Spelling Competition will be held for all pupils in Grade 3 – 7 next Friday.

Please be reminded that Exam Week for Grades 3 – 7 will be the week of 23rd to 27th October.

The Afternoon Activities Timetable changes next week to accommodate swimming House practices. The new Timetable is attached.
