Dear Parents
Half Term is here already.  School closes today and will re-open on Tuesday.

The weather very kindly held off for us to hold our Inter-House Cross Country this morning.  Congratulations go to all our pupils in Grades 3 – 7 for representing their houses so well and to all the many parents who supported the event.

The PTA will be holding their AGM next Wednesday, 22^nd February at 6:00pm in the school hall.  All parents and old parents are asked to attend.  The AGM will be followed by a Cocktail Party for all parents and teachers.

The Afternoon Activities Timetable will change as from next week to accommodate House practices for the Inter House Sports Day.  The new timetable follows.

Our termly Inter House Bonds and Tables competition for all pupils in Grades 3 – 7 will be held next Friday.  This competition helps turn what is one the most important aspects of success in Maths, into a termly fun event that everyone competes in, with the points each term going towards the Inter House Bonds and Tables Trophy, which is presented annually at Prize Giving.  Parents’ involvement in their children’s learning of bonds and tables is critical in order for their children to make progress in Maths.  The teachers in each Grade will indicate the level required.

Next Friday will be Orange Day in support of KidzCan.  All pupils are asked to wear something orange and bring a donation of at least $2:00, for which they will be given the orange KidzCan shoelaces, which can be worn as from Tuesday on trainers by pupils who bring in the donations early.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy and safe Half Term.
