Dear Parents

Happy Valentine’s Day to all.

Today is also our KidzCan Orange Day, which has been wonderfully supported by our pupils with the school looking very colourful.  All the bandanas, wrist bands, bottles and rulers have been sold and many donations received.  This is very special, especially as the KidzCan organization are always so grateful for Bishopslea’s support.

Next weekend is Half Term and next Thursday is our Inter-House Cross Country.  School will end at lunch time on Thursday, 20th February after the Cross Country, and will re-open on Tuesday 25th February.

We are all extremely grateful for the current rains and pray that they continue and that our dams and lakes are filled.  Please note, though, that afternoon activities are never cancelled because of rains.  Should it be raining when an outside afternoon activity is to be held the pupils will go indoors with the teacher or coach for lessons on techniques, rules, strategies etc.

Inter-House Cross Country
Our Inter-House Cross Country, for all pupils in Grades 3 – 7, will begin at 9:45am next Thursday.   The points from the first seven runners in from each House going towards the Championship Trophy and the points from every runner from each house, based on times, go towards the Inter-House Standards’ Trophy.  The order of events follows.
