Dear Parents

The Staff and Teacher’s Jerusalema Dance video has been an exceptional success with over
30 000 views just on Bishopslea’s Facebook sites.  Numerous comments of praise and support have come from around the world and include comments from Alumi who attended Bishopslea as pupils from as long ago as the 1950’s.

Congratulations go to all the teachers and staff who put so much effort into the dance.  It must be said that everyone had incredible fun over the two weeks of learning the dance and practicing.  Special thanks must go to Mrs Morar, Mrs Wanyanya and Mrs Bimha for driving the project.

We are currently preparing for the expected return of our Grade 7 pupils on Tuesday 28th September, as announced by Ministry of Education.  We all hope that the other Grades will follow.

In the interim, we continue with our programme, which is keeping all our pupils up to date with regards to the syllabus.

As our programme started earlier than the actual scheduled Term 3 starting date and will continue to the end of the two weeks of Grade 7 ZIMSEC Exams, that will begin on 1st December, we are scheduling a break from the programme from Friday 16th October to Monday 26th October.
